VANUATU TOURISM AWARDS 2015
Due to the challenging operating environment over the past year the decision has been made to coincide the event with Independence Day and be held on Friday, 29th July 2016.
Key points to note:
* Operators can enter or resubmit until the new deadline of Monday, 2nd May 2016.
* Those who entered can either withdraw and resubmit, or leave their existing entry as is.
Further, all entrants to the Awards are invited to a workshop session with Jessica Quinlan, TripAdvisor Senior Sales Executive – Destination Marketing – Australia, New Zealand & Pacific Islands, the week before the Awards ceremony.
The scheduling of a mid-year Awards event will be continued in the future, with the following Awards covering 2016/2017 and to be awarded in July 2017.
We will keep you up-to-date via various channels as to any further developments.
The Vanuatu Tourism Awards aims to help improve standards and professionalism, whilst encouraging the continual development of the tourism sector.
This years theme is ‘community’, so to recognise collaboration and knowledge sharing within our industry, aimed at helping build the Vanuatu brand and enhancing the visitor experience. And, to also thank all those who are involved, especially after Cyclone Pam.
The ultimate goal of the Awards is to attract more tourists to create greater economic opportunity in Vanuatu and build a sustainable future for the industry.
Why should you enter?
By making an official entry, you will have an opportunity to think about your business; your customers; your products and services; and your marketing at a holistic level.
By doing so, you may come across ways to improve what you do and by also competing against other businesses, you might see ideas that could be applied to your business to improve its performance.
